    Exclamation Ethel Allen

My Brickwall is my grandmother Ethel Allen
Ethel Allen was born 15th July 1902 Mother Elizabeth Allen ne read. Father Edward Allen.
I cannot find any trace of her birth or of her life from the day she was born up until the day she married my grandfather Phillip Scally in Newcastle under lyme. We know she wasnt born in Newcastle and that she came here when she was around 17.
He Brothers Harry, Richard, Jack and sister Annie, Emma were all born in Macclesfield and I have birth cert for those but none for Ethel or her sister Lizzie, I have been searching for years for both and have sent for endless birth certs with no joy.
All her family seemed to have been born in Macclesfield but my grandmother said she was from Sedgley. Tipton.
But we cannot find any traces of her there either. they dont show on the 1901 census or the 1911. Any help would be greafully received.

    Hello

Struggling to get a date to search on, Ethel ALLEN b 1902 place?

You suggest her parents were Edward ALLEN & Elizabeth READ, the marriage date I find for them is 1876/1880 St Peters Prestbury is this correct?
If so are they the grandparents?

Can you please state the year of birth for the siblings of Ethel, to help make searching a bit easier

    Hi,
I might have Annie & Richard Allen on the 1901 census. Annie Allen, daughter of Edward Allen married Joseph Hurst. They are living in South Manchester Lancashire, all were born Macclesfield Cheshire.
