Thread: Brick wall

Hello all

My brick wall is regarding one Maria Huntfield, born abt Dec 1798 bapt Jan 1799 in Tuxford Nottinghamshire, parents Philip Huntfield and Mary. I think the parish record has them as HUNFIELD.
Someone has kindly looked at the Notthinghamshire parish records for me and could not find any more details on parents marriage or other siblings born in this parish.
Maria is then found in Elsenham, Essex in 1832 marrying William Ball. William died before the 1851 census so I have no idea where he was born. Ive had someone else kindly have a look at the Elsenham parish records and found that they were married by license there. (I live overseas so am unable to have a look at these records myself unfortunately).
I have been trying to go further back from Marias birth for years and have not been able to find any details on her parents or if she had any siblings. The only record I have is one from the IGI and of course from my contact that had a look at the Notts parish records and found her birth. I dont want to stop at Maria if I can help it. Im not sure if her husband William is traceable as I only have his birth year (which is on his death certificate).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

date of baptism is shown as 03/ January 1799 and HUNFIELD

Maria is then found in Elsenham, Essex in 1832 marrying William Ball.
