BIG HELP REQUEST

Been struggling with this brick wall for awhile and any help would greatly be appreciated

Currently looking for the birthplace and parents of a William Fisher born circa 1846. Censuses show that he was either born in Sunderland or the Middlesex area.

He was married to Isabella Sowerby marriage Dec 1866 Sunderland, England 10a 637

He died 01 April 1910 in Sunderland, England 10a 291 death gives age as 65

William and Isabella had the following children if this helps all born and died in Sunderland England unless otherwise stated

Currently looking for the birthplace and parents of a William Fisher born circa 1846

If you have the marriage certificate, this will tell you how old William FISHER was on marriage, his job and his fathers forename and job, all useful in trying to identify William FISHER on the census returns etc.

I have found him on 2 returns,
1871 with his mother in law SOWERBY desc as a mariner
1881 RG11 1906 126. 8 ( Vessels) as a mariner on the 'Grenadier'

in all these he is born london. trouble is there are quite a few william fisher born london around the right time. really need marriage cert info to be able to carry on and locate him

at first as the OP had name of children i was assuming that the one born london with the children is right one and the other one on grenadier is a seperate person. however as in 1871 he is with MIL and birth is given as sunderland it might be the same person.

this looks like sunderland birth

however without fathers name at least as checking point it would just be supposition if he got the birth cert

And if you look at the census return for the Grenadier, you will also find an interesting entry for a child of FISHER!
