I can see a Leslie Francis O'Donoghue birth Jan-Mar 1898 Dublin South Vol 2 page 581; also Leo O'Donoghue birth Jan-Mar 1892 Dublin South Vol 2 page 569. No sign of Herbert's birth. No sign of the marriage.

I assume you have seen part of the family in Derry in 1911, and probably stepson Timothy in Santry with wife and children in 1911:

Births, Deaths & Marriages can be searched on the on the LDS pilot site. It doesn’t include BDMs in Northern Ireland after 1922:

    FamilySearch Record Search

That gives you the likely entries. There are several options for getting copies of the certificates. You can order them from the appropriate local registry office, from the central GRO office in Roscommon or via an LDS library. There are also some pay to view sites. I tend to use GRO Roscommon, which charges €4 for a research copy, provided you give them accurate data including the year, volume and page number, which you can get off the LDS site. (Can cost more if you don’t give accurate data and they have to search). GRO website: The General Register Office Ireland :: An tSeirbhs um Chlr Sibhialta

Download and print the application form, and then post or fax it back to them. Ask for a photocopy (a research copy), as this is cheaper than the full formal certificate. Takes about 10 to 14 days from when they receive it.
