Thread: Peter Nichols

My brick wall concerns London I think as that's where my ancestor Peter Nicholls died and not having him on any census, nor his wife I just can't get any further back. Presumed bc 1775, I have no marriage, just a possible baptism for his son, which states his father is deceased.

Can you give us more background information on Peter NICHOLS, you say that you have a possiible Baptism for his son, what does it read or where do we find it?

What is the 1841 census info for the family, H107 refernece will be OK

Thanks very much Elsabels, this looks very promising. I don't know where you got the Peter Nicols bapt from for 1813, but does it give a father's occupation at all? Or does it give Peter's occupaton on his 1822 death?
