Thread: Thomas Henry Coe

I have reached a brick wall regarding my grandfather Thomas Henry Coe. I cannot find any trace of his birth certificate. His wife was Elizabeth Mary Patterson whom he married 12 June 1905 they had a son Lionel Henry Coe my father. I have a copy of Thomas's marriage certificate and on it mentions his father William Christopher Coe.
I found a copy of his short service record and it looks like they have written on it born oct 1878 (although badly damaged and not clear). I have his death certificate at the age of 62 on the 6th November 1940 killed at Kilburn Police Station (Met Police reserve constable). Recently I found that a plaque had been unveiled at Kilburn to commemorate the death of 13 officers on that day.

But unfortunately I still cannot find a copy of his birth certificate or the name of his mother.

Kilburn is West London Pejay.
