Thread: Faustin Jeffery

MY brick wall is this
Faustin jeffery born around 1786 in Huntspill, Somerset or Cannington, according to 1851 census
I have checked both parish registers and no sign of him although Jeffery was a prominent family there. Next time I found him was 1811 when he married Catherine Byrne in Dublin and in 1815 their son Augustine was born there. Both families were Roman Catholic i think. next time I found him was the baptism of his other children at St MAry Moorfields Roman Catholic church starting with his daughter Mary in 1820 and ending in 1837 with their daughter Martha with 8 or 9 children in between. 1841 census has them in London with some of their children and Faustin is a master shoemaker, same in 1851 but in 1861 they are not to be found. Faustin died in Islington in 1866 and his wife died in 1865. I so want to find a birth record and a record of his parents names

FAmily legend say that his family were French in origin
