Thread: William Belton Burns

My brick wall is William Belton Burns born 1842 Manchester. His father Peter Belton Burns born Ireland and Mary also Dublin 1800. My problem is the name changes so often - there are so many william beltons or boltons on the bmd. 1851 they are Bolton family on damaged census in Lowr Buxton st. 1861 - Bolton family living Flora st. 1871 - William burns now married to susannah on calin st. 1881 - Balton. I had some help finding Peter Betson in 1841 living stockport with his family called Bilton - not been able to trace any of them further back. Would just love to find his birth. The Belton Burns name appears on his marriage cert 1867 and also on his son Harry's birth cert in 1877 where his son is named Harry Belton - father William Burns - mother Susannah Burns nee Ball. Any help would really be appreciated
