    Default Breedon family Nottingham 1841

    Is there any way of finding Breedon family in Nottinghamshire in 1841
    I'm looking for James and Ann Breedon and also Robert and Ann Breedon possibly near Newarke possibly near Southwell

    I have looked at all the 1841 census of Nottinghamshire I can find but I cannot find a James and Ann. From their marriage details in last post they would have been born around 1770-85 so could have deceased by 1841. Thats assuming they are the James and Ann you refer to.

    Can look at a few baptisms for you if you have found anything concrete, just none with the combination of James and Ann wih the info I have for Notts. It is mainly a John and Ann or John and Eliza Breedon that are parents baptising their children in Barnby 1827-1849, lots of earlier ones at Southwell

    Ann breedon married Edward Marshall 1831 feb in southwell its her family I'm looking for she could have been born 1808 or 1807 1841 census seems to suggest 1811 but it was nottinghamshire.

    Have found 8 children to an Edward and Ann, all Newark St Mary, looks like 2 couples going by dates

    Edward 1815_08_02 Father working malster
    Joseph 1818_10_03 Father Labourer
    Ann 1820_06_22 Father Malster
    Anna Maria 1809_12_07
    Sarah 1811_05_27

    Mariann 1837_07_15
    John Young 1839_09_22
    Mary Thornton 1841_11_20...father gardener for all

    mariann John Young and Mary Thornton are all the correct family
    I wonder whether Ann Breedon's mother was a Thornton as (or her grandmother) as Young was a lso a grandmothers maiden name
    I'm trying to find the next geberation up now ie Anns parents.
