Thread: George Henry Lewis Born Southwark 1892

Hello I hope I have done this right.
I am trying to discover my mothers roots. Which has become my own massive brick wall. My mother Peggy Temple nee Lewis's father George Henry Lewis born in Southwark in 1892. Then believe it or not this is where I start to hit problems I think his father was also a George Henry Lewis born 1869 in Ludgate Hill. Then it becomes fuzzy I think his father was a William Lewis in 1840, but not really sure. Talking to mum I think that there were a few skeletons in the cupboard. I would really love to trace this for her, I do hope that I am lucky enough to be chosen and hope you can help. Thanks very very much.

So far so good then I started to lose the plot, it appears William & Sarah have had their children baptised twice, all are thei children and each instance William is desc as a printer
