I am helping a friend to find his family.So far impossible.He was born Micheal John Taylor in 19?? in Lewisham Hospital, Mothers maiden name Smith. He was then adopted. His adopted mother told him he had a sister Pauline abt 19?? Irene abt 19?? Ronald abt 19?? and Sheila 19??. The only one that we can find is Pauline Taylor born Epping in 19?? Mothers maiden name Smith.. Either all the children had different surnames or she was lying about Smith or Taylor being her name.On the birth cert she shows her name as Ellen Taylor nee Smith aged 29. She was known by the name Patricia because she liked it.This was a private adoption as Ellen knew the couple that adopted Micheal.After the adoption she just vanished with her 4 other children. At the time of the adoption she was living at Mile End London. Any help would be appreciated especially on Pauline Taylor if only for elimination. Thank You Annie

I have now recieved a death cert of a Patricia Taylor died nov 1998 in borough of Lewisham. Her maiden name was Buck and she was born in 1919 which does tally in with Ellens birth. I have found a Nellie P Buck born in 1919 in Bermondsey.On death cert it states that she is the widow of Alexander Taylor. I can find no marriage of these 2 people or children yet again? Annie
