Cant find this lady she was born in Swansea 1877 and married Charles Henry Green in 1907 I cant find her in 1881 or 1901 I would love to find her parents and get back further
I can see a Mortha A Edney( Cencus 1891 )born Swansea 1877 living in Cardiff 129 Cathays Terr with Daniel and Martha Gibby her aunty and Uncle thanks
This looks like her birth reg, you could use it to get the birth cert which would show both parents.

I think you need to try to piece the EDNEY family of Glamorgan together form the 1881 census, I can find several children desc as nieces and nephews wih other famillies
MAry Ann 1872 wuth George & Ellne Brown
Samuel J 1872 with Wnm & Eliza LEYMAN
Louisa 1876 with Thomas & Harriett DEAN
which suggests that these may be siblings of MARTHA ANN b 1877
There is a death of John EDNEY d 06/1879 aged 36and Sarah EDNEY 06/1880 both Swansea

Forgot, there is a GIBBEY tree on line and MArtha's name but parents desc as unknown!
Martha may be in another household and the enumerator has included her as part of the family surname

Sorry I didnt know anyone had got back to me as my computer broke down Thankyou everyone for your time I got Martha Annes marriage cert and her father is Joseph a Farmer but I believe he died in 1880 looking at the records It looks like children were farmed out as I have found tonight another child Joseph Edney 18881as an orphan Mother must of died also
