    Default Postles Family Lived at Over Alderly

    I am trying to find information about the Postles Family who lived at the Harebourgh Over Alderley. Mr James Postles who died in 1963, his wife Emily, daughters Hannah Alice, Annie Elizabeth, Isabel and my Mother Marjory, There were at least two Sons Harold & John, I know Annie had a daughter Joyce Postles who married & moved to Wimbourne. I do have several old photographs taken at Over Alderley and would share them with other family members if still about. Any information about the Postles Family would be appreciated.

    Not sure where Harebourgh Over Alderley is but there is a Over Alderley in Cheshire. So before going any further with a search is this your James:

    I think your in the correct area, Hareborough Alderley listed in archive.cheshire.gov.uk info going back to 1672!

    How certain are you about James being married to Emily ? Found these census entries which shows the only james from Over Alderley. Do you have a married reg for a james and Emily. You could always get the Marriage reg/cert for James and Edna and check who James father is.

    I wish to thank you for all that valued information, yes this James born 1874 is my Granfather. I have photos of him and most of the family and I shall put them on the family tree program. But at present I am doing the present imediate family and working my way back.
    As I go I will update that ihformation when I have confirmed all the dates etc. Thank you again very for the information
