Default Where did Ann Naylor, born 1827 Haydock, go?

Can anyone help me track down what happened to an ancestor?

She was called Ann Naylor, born about 1827 in Haydock, the daughter of the blacksmith John Naylor and his wife Ann. In 1851 she was living in Haydock with her parents and some of her siblings:

    HO107; Piece: 2202; Folio: 6; Page: 4

    Civil parish: Haydock
Ecclesiastical parish: Ashton in Makerfield St Thomas

    Name Age
    John Naylor 68 b c 1783 blacksmith head married b Newton
Ann Naylor 48 wife b c 1803 Burtonwood, Lancs school teacher
Ann Naylor 23 daughter, b c1828 Haydock, smiths daughter
    John Naylor 17 son b c 1834 Haydock, smith
    William Naylor 12 son b c 1839 Haydock, scholar

At the time she must have been pregnant with her son Edwin, who was born later that year. He was illegitimate and we have never been able to find the name of his father, only that 'she was badly let down'. Her son stayed in the local area for the rest of his life, but after 1851 we have not been able to find any trace of Ann at all. If anyone has any ideas where elseo look it would be great. Thanks.

Not really of help Somerset, but this would appear to be her baptism:-

Ann Naylor, parents John and Ann Naylor.
Born 11th May 1827, baptised 24th June 1827 at Winwick, Lancs.

Apologies if you already have this Somerset, but a possible marriage for her parents:-

John Naylor m. Ann Tunstall, 28th September 1825, St Oswald's at Winwick.

Witnesses: Thos. Walker and Thos. Smith.

I know the age is slightly out, but a possible marriage?

Married 21st May 1860 at St Thomas, Golborne, Lancs.

Thomas Derbyshire, 34 yrs, Stonemason, Widower, Pemberton, Lancs. m. Ann Naylor, 30 yrs, Spinster of Golborne.
    Groom's Father Thomas Derbyshire, Stonemason.
    Bride's Father John Naylor, Wheelwright.
    Witnesses Sarah Hill, James Gray.

Golborne is only a short distance from Haydock.

Wow Finbar - this is amazing. You have worked so hard. I think you have probably cracked it. I am not too worried about the slight age discrepancy which seems pretty normal for that time, and wheelwright is not far off a blacksmith. It looks very positive. Thank you so much.

    Hello

Have you got the illeg son's marriage cert, you may be surprised and find he knew his father or if you look at the parish record of the baptism, the Vicar may have made a local note as to who the father was!
