My Great Grandfather John Tyrrell married Alice Louisa Russell 11th Dec 1893 in Nhill, Victoria Australia Age on marriage certificate 29 - Born at Sea 1859 - an aunt said he was born 1860 Father’s name John Tyrrell, Mother Harriet Smith I have done extensive searches in Australia and UK for births at sea and found nothing and nothing in Australian births. He had two brothers

GRO Births at sea from 1837 to 1965 are available on 56 microfiche; however these are only indexes which contain names, dates and in some years, ship names. LDS Fiche numbers 6137268 - 6137322 The LDS Family Search Library Catalog will identify which fiche relates to which year.

I can't find a marriage for a John Tyrrell to Harriet Smith - sorry.
You say, John had two brothers where were they born? Do you have their birth certificates?
