Thread: ROBERT PRANGNELL

I cannot find birth or death records for my GG-Grandfather ROBERT PRANGNELL. He married Hannah Danziel at St. Georges Bloomsbury in 1815. His last child was born in 1829 & he was listed as deceased on his eldest child's marriage cert in 1839.

Think i found a birth Robert Prangnell 1792 Chilbolton, Hampshire ,,,,,baptism 26 aug 1792 St. Marys church, Chilbolton, Hampshire

The Chilbolton one might not be the right one - there is a burial in 1849 in Chilbolton Southampton for a Robert PRANGNELL (on familysearch beta). No age given.

Could this be him??? - could be a bit too old perhaps as would have been over 40 when they married.

Re Westminster burial. Thanks, I have since found this one, except the Parish records give the name as Bragnell. That does not put me off though as I am used to my family name being mispronounced & spelled incorrectly. Certainly the date is about right as his last child was born in 1829

Thanks. I had already located that one. It is very frustrating as he was listed as deceased on his eldest son's marriage records in 1839. His youngest child was born in 1829 so he passed away somewhere between 1828/29 & 1839. I am wondering if the record of a Robert Bragnell buried at st. John the Evangelist in Westminster in 1830 is him. Unfortunately I cannot get to London to check it out further.
