    Exclamation Harling Family Yorkshire

    Hi, what a fantastic help this will be if you can at least loosen a few bricks in my wall.
    My problem is my great x 2 grandfather's parents.
    Issac Harling (the name gets changed to Harlin after his marriage and children) 24 Aug 1824 - 1901 Doncaster West Riding of Yorkshire. I have information about him and his wife Miriam Sone 1829-1887
    their marriage is 1842 Yorkshire (several variations on their names through the censuses.)

    All I can find about Isaac's parents are their names from

    Hi,

    There are two boys born to a William and Rebecca Harling at Fewston (Near Harrogate) in Yorkshire, which isn't far from Bradford: in IGI batch number C071911
    William Harling baptised 10 December 1815
    Thomas Harling baptised 14 December 1817

    - they may be siblings. There is a genealogical website for Fewston at:

    Something is wrong here Miriam would only have been 13 when she married. How did you get to Isaac and Miriam, via a child, which one ?

    I cannot find a birth for Miriam Sone or a marriage between Isaac Harling and Miriam. Do you have the marriage cert?

    Hi sorry for the delay in replying, I am traveling around Australia at the moment and have limited internet access depending on where we are staying.
    I made a typo in the first post, I tried to correct it as soon as I saw what I had written but lots of other posts had been added meantime.
    Miriam's maiden name was Stone (not Sone) sorry.
    The information on Isaac I have is:
