Exclamation John Casement Born in IOM Circa 1791

My gggGrandfather John Casement was born in IOM circa 1791 he died 1847 in Toxteth Park Liverpool where he spent most of his life, in fact he married Elizabeth Bell of Liverpool. He was a Shipwright/Licensed Victualler and had 5 children all traceable in the 1841 census. I have more that enough info. on his descendants, my brick wall is John's parents and exactly where he was born in the IOM. Only clues I have are 1) his daughter Elizabeth married John Kneen and they went to live in Ramsey IOM. When John died in 1847 his wife Elizabeth went to live with her daughter Elizabeth in Ramsey and died in the August of 1847. 2) She was buried in Andreas Old Yard Cemetery. So if anyone can help me tracing Johns roots, I would be eternally grateful.

    Hello Ann,

What are the details on the marriage certificate for John? (hoping for a family witness)

I have found a baptism 17 Jan 1790 - John Casement - Maughold - Isle of Man - Father - Thomas - Mother Mary Kirmeen.

    Hi Astoria
Thanks for you reply. I've just checked the Marriage Cert. that I obtained from Liverpool Records Office: John Casement and Elzabeth Bell, Spinster of Liverpool married 20/10/1813. In Presence of Mathew Bell and Margret Bell. This doesnt help I'm afraid. They were married in St Thomas Church Liverpool. John came from the Isle of Man. The marriage cert is so old it doesnt give the parents. I have absolutely no information on the parents or family of John and no idea what part of IOM he came from. I think I am going to have to go to the IOM.
    Kind regards Ann
