John Riddle b c 1740 Dorset? married to Mary ? c1740, children John and Mary have followed John all the way down to my Mum,lol but going up I am stuck with John senior as far as I aware he was born in dorset altough family rumour is they came down south from Scotland but I have found no evidence of this john Junior married Jane Burgess and he was born in Winter bourne St Martin Dorset, England. any help would be brill as I have been stuck on this one for four years

If I have this right you are trying to trace John's parents who may have come frome Scotland.

Hi Suey - I wonder if this is the coupIe - are their ages right? they fit in with Noggins data re the marriage ages - if so I dont mind prodding further....
