There is a tree on A******
with Martha Bowes Clarkson, born 6 June 1850, Masham, Yorkshire. Spouse is Richard Tate. Her father Thomas is listed as a farmer. There are nine children, 5 still living. I looked at the census for 1851 and 1861 on the tree and there is no mention of a Martha, just a Matthew who would be the right age.
There is also a Martha born 1850 but the father Thomas is a carpenter

Be yourself, everyone else is taken
interesting IGI has william as Thomas's dad but ages look a bit tight would make him 16 when he had thomas - IGI has thomas' parents as william and mary
Not sure if have the correct person in my earlier answer so I checked again for the information. Question is do you have the occupation for her father Thomas?
kptz
Is this her marriage?
Martha Bowes Clarkson = Richard Tate Dec 1/4 1869 Bedale 9d 933
There is an 1881 census record for Richard. Martha B. Tate is listed as basket maker's wife, but her husband is not present at the census. The tree I found has the parents for Thomas Clarkson as William Clarkson and Mary Jackson. Thomas is listed as born 7 Jan 1806. The parents for Martha are listed as William Bowes and Ann unknown.
