Hi, Relatively new to this site and just read your e-mail about helping searchers. I have hit a brick wall all round. My main brick wall is my mother's mother. Her name was Florence Newell born around 1898 to Thomas Newell and his wife Mary, in Belfast, she married William McClean on 08/12/1920, they had three daughters my mother being the youngest born in 1926. Florence died in 1928 I have found her death certificate but have been unable to locate her burial place. I have tried the churchyard where my mother is sure she is buried Comber Parish Church County Down, but the rector was most unhelpful and told me the records for 1928 were misplaced and that I would need the grave papers but if I had these I wouldn't need to search. I have tried the public records office and church of Ireland library records office all to no avail. as my mother is reaching her 86th year I would love to find her mothers grave for her, any help would be gratefully appreciated although I know it is a very slim chance.
Many thanks,
Regards
Barbara.
