    Default Irish family

Looking for Sabina Brannam(?)/Brannon(?), from Ireland, i was told she came over with her family/parents during the potato famine, think her parents were Patrick Brannon and Mary Carroll 28 Jan 1864 Mohill, Leitrim Ireland. Patricks father Felix and Marys father James.

Definatley know:- Sabina married Richard Dickinson from Knottingly, Yorkshire, he died 27 Jan 1945, buried Knottingly grave yard with there daughter Nellie Dickinson born 1909 died 1951.

They also had another daughter Ethel Dicknson who died 1994, Knottingly, married General Redvers Buller Barker on 26th December, Knottingly, he died 1983, knottingly.

I would very much appreciate anyones help as i am trying to find out more about Sabina, were she came from, her parents, when they married, who her siblings were and if possable her grand parents and the kind of jobs they did. Were they Catholic?

I am struggling with tracinng them and if you could help please conatc me:by pm please

Never a good idea to post your email addy in a forum, it can be picked up by all sorts!

Irish ancestry is tricky unless you know where in Ireland. There are no records of migrants from Ireland to England. I myself am stuck with husband's gt x 3 grandfather, Callaghan McCarthy. He's named as father on 2 x grandfather's marriage cert. 2 x grandfather started as Dennis McCarthy, then James McCarthy before deciding to be James Carter. He consistently says he was born in Holborn, London, but I can't find any trace of him or Callaghan in England and have no idea where to start in Ireland!

    Good luck.

Take it a step at a time!
This looks like the family in 1871 Liverpool
Patrick Brannon 50 labourer docks b Ireland
    Mary 40 b Ireland
Annie 17 rag dealer b Liverpool
    Kate 14 b Liverpool
    Sabina 8 b Liverpool
    John 6 b Liverpool
Sabina Shea 60 boarder, widow b Ireland

So this could be Sabina's birth - March quarter 1862 birth Sabina Brannon Liverpool 8b ?
You could now get the birth certificates to confirm the parents names.
You already have the marriage of the probable parents
    Parish/church Annaduff Roman Catholic
    Address given as Glebe
    Gillian
