    Post John gardiner- 1810-birmingham

Hi there, I have a huge brickwall that I need to work out. John GARDINER married Jane KENNY in about 1851, BATHURST AUSTRALIA. The subsequant births of the children say he was born in abt 1810 in BIRMINGHAM, and that he was a shepherd. I am having trouble tracking his baptism in ENGLAND and finding out when he was actually came to Australia. Any help would be much appreciated

I assume you are refering to this John GARDNER.

Do you know what year he died and where, NSW death records sometimes have the parents names on them.

Hi there, firstly thanks I have not been able to find a death record for John and Jane GARDINER, I believe they either moved interstate or their deaths were not recorded. Thankyou for the two possible convict records. I'll have to look into them. I'll also look into that baptism, thanks I think it was his wife Jane KENNY that was the Catholic.
