Marraige june qtr 1895 Brentford Ethel Gregory to Frederick King / Campbell Coffin vol 3a p. 137
maybe a possibility
thanks hazelnut, what does the campbell coffin bit mean?
When you look at the entries on the site hazelnut has given you, you will see the listings of all persons who were married in the quarter:
those in the quarter April - June 1895 in Brentford were
Coffin Campbell Brentford 3a137
Ffinch Ethel Lilian Brentford 3a137
Gregory Ethel Brentford 3a137
King Frederick Brentford 3a137
This shows 2 brides and 2 grooms, usually when a marriage is identified for say a groom, a researcher is looking for an wife who the name is not known, hence the reason for the presentation as given by Hazelnut........
In your instance, you knew who you werre looking for!
Hope you follow, if not shout!
PS Did that marriage cert turn up?

Too many Frederick King's born in 1864 - think he was probably the one from St Luke's Parish - The others are central/east London
The census I looked on states he was born in Ealing Middlesex, if that helps.
