Hi Chris, I found your baptism on search pilot but apart from a possible birth
Symons John - Flegg ( seems to include Ormsby St. Michael ) 13 113 - March 1838
I can find no sign of either him or his mum 1841 or 1851 there is one entry of a John Simons working as a servant in 1851 but I think it may be clutching at straws a bit.
Do you have any further information that may help? I wonder if Isabel married soon after the birth?

There is a John Simmonds just down the road in Gt Yarmouth, right age but mothers name is Bridget.

Im sure i found him , with my lot thats a first lol , hes living with mum and new husband George Smith at Caister on Sea Norfolk 1841 , William Symonds living with them [ i thought her father ] but by age line not so sure ]
You know who has him listed as Lymonds

You are right Astoria Christmas Hall was Jane Hall brother , who in end lived with William Simons/Symonds father of Happy , making it even worse William and Jane never wed but had children . Im trying to put to bed Williams first family by a Mary Woodget , he is a grt grandfather to my line wed or not .
I thought John was his grandson by his daughter Isabella .
But im grateful for the help so many thanks for your time and trouble.
