The Board of Trade passenger lists span 1878-1888 from foreign ports. Hope this helps.
Gillian - had to laugh - the entry concerning Alma Caddy is the one I want! I can't seem to find her and her husband anywhere so when I saw this Board of Trade list on Ancestry.com I got excited. The dates for these Caddy's are too late. Alma died in 1915. Had only one son, James born 1885 at Brighton. No husband mentioned. She worked as a domestic 1891 and 1901 censuses. Did state she was married. If you have the details about ALMA, please let me know. Any thank you!!!
Sorry - the reference you found to an Alma is mistranscribed as is clear from the original image. There is an Alma Caddy age 56 widow arriving 31 May 1912 Quebec from Liverpool on the Virginian - says to son, builder, 27 years 189 Queen St - Ottawa Ontario.
Maybe do a separate post for Alma stating any other info you are looking for?
