Hi all

Looking for the Mother of Harold Press b Jun qrt 1920 in Bollington. If a kind person could pm me the details I'd be grateful.

I have searched the relevant census, using the following criteria, Surname: Press female, single, born 1895 +/- 10 years and born 1904 +/- 5 years, and there are no females by the name of Press; born in the Macclesfield Registration District which encompasses Bollington. A*****y records the birth mothers maiden name as Press, and I have not found a Press to Press marriage, so I think the only way would be purchase the birth cert.

Any other suggestions?

John Charles PRESS b 1874
Sarah PRESS b1874
Hilda PRESS 1902
Phylis PRESS b 1904

all b Bollington

address 30 Lord Street

A search of Cheshirebmd.org 1895 - 1911 Cheshire East only brings up these 2 girls. b Bollington..there are some Press girls in Rainow!
