    Default Phoebe YESPE.. Any detals please

    Hi Folks,
    I have recently discover a rather interesting name pop up and I'm wondering if there is anyone else researching the name.

    The1 name I speak of is YESPE.
    Phoebe married Solomon COHEN. I have1 no dates for their BDMs.
    They did have four children.....
    Michael [Meir] Cohen-Hart b.1750
    Kitty no BD.

    Hannah no BD.

    Male Aug-Sep 1791.

    Any help as always truly appreciated.

    What an unusual name you could try the guild of one name studies http://www.one-nameorg/
    i assume you have looked on The IGI found on Family Search or the Hugh Wallis site. However this is only an index and may be open to errors. If possible check the parish records yourself at local records office/archive .

    Hi Hawk, Phoebe Yespe is my 7th great grandmother, i don't have any dates or info at all on her or her husband solomon. although i do know that solomon also used the surname hart.
    I have one name for a son of theirs, meir cohen/ meir hakohen hart.
    How are you related? or have you had any luck getting any info on them?

    Well Elsabels is correct [more often than not she is you know ] I am very please to hear from fellow AAers.

    Now about Pheobe Yespe [no dates] and Solomon Hart [no dates].

    Male b. n.a.
    Lewis b. n.a.

    Michael m. 2 Dec. 1795, Sarah Moses b. n.a., d. 10 Sep. 1846 , Michael d. 22 Nov. 1833. 6 children.
    Kitty b. 1777, m. 13 Sep. 1797 Isaac Moses b. n.a., d. 19 Mar. 1833, Kitty d.1821 Wentworth St. 1 child.
    Hannah b. c1790, m.7 Feb. 1819 Jacob Solomon b. n.a., d. n.a. 3 children.
    Other children no more info.

    Michael and Sarah
    Moses c1794 Middlesex Eng. m. [1] 21 Feb 1819 Leah Benjamin d.7 Jan 1837-44, 8 children. They had 9 children one of which was Solomon c1818 who married Mary Hannah Joel 28 Jul. 1844, they had 8 children one being Benjamin Hart b.1851 who m. Matilda Solomon b.11 Apr. 1851 London Eng. They had 11 children, one being Greshon 1883 , Gershon m. Louisa Knight who bore 6 children, one being my father.

    John c. n.a.

    It was Benjamin who came to Australia with the first 4 of his children and Matilda of course. They lived in Sydney till 1900’s then moved the family to NZ, living on the south Island in Spring Grove.

    your right hawks elsabels usually is hence the nickname OLD DEAR so pleased you have your info tho
