Thread: GRETNA GREEN Marriage circa 1992

Hello supersleuths,

Need some help, I have learnt that my uncle re married around 18 years ago at Gretna Green, or at least this is what I picked up at his funeral last week....and this tells me why I cannot find in Cheshire

Where will I find the marriage

GORDON CLARK(E) b 1940 - 2010 his widow is still living

As a by, I also learnt that twigs ( marriages) and twiglets ( his gt grandchildren) needed to be added to the tree so more research...then there was the Aunt of 80 and elderley cousins reminiscing, I had my pen and paper at the ready.....who says funerals are sad!

Hubby knew I was in my element!

I should think at this date you would find the marriage on Scotlands People just like any other Scottish marriage.
Send me a pm with his wife's name - there is one likely marriage and one possible that I can see.
