Thread: death of william smith

hi can anyone help please,trying to find death record of william john smith,born 1866 married elizabeth in 1887,had 5 children the last in 1896, his wife was a widow in 1900, so he died between 1895 and 1900, but i can find no record of his death,so could have been in army or navy, but i cant find a record,glad of any help alan.

thanks for that, yes he came from portsmouth area and the age is just right, i think he must have been in the forces as there's no record of him in the 1881 or 1891 census, well done welshlady, and thanks again, alan.
