I am trying to trace my mother's family. I discovered that she has 4 sisters and a brother. i traced all their births and then hit a brick wall.
If anyone could help with additional information it will be greatly appreciated.
Her brother John Blair Byars was born 24 Nov 1933 in Paisley, Scotland. i think he passed away in 1988 in Birkenhead, cheshire? - not sure if anyone can help with tracing if he got married and had kids?

I am not too sure about Scottish records. most of the sites here are just England & Wales. You could try Sco6tlands People it is a paying site though so you may want to have a good look at the site site first before you subscribe. If you use a search engine like google it will give the web address.

Searching for Twizell, Brown & Storey from Northumberland. Kelly & Kinsella from Ireland, Parkinson from Lincolnshire. Mellor from Derbyshire and Jackson from Warwickshire.
There is a John Blair Byars born 1933 Paisley Renfrew (info from Scotlands people). There isn't an image so you would have to buy the certificate for full details (GROS data 573/01 1514). There isn't any sign of a marriage in Scotland.
There is an earlier generation John Blair Byars in Paisley - presumably the father? Let me know if you want his details.
The 1957 marriage noggin28 found you was to a Margaret Gellatly. I couldn't see any children (ie surname Byars mothers maiden name Gellatly)
