Ada Mobey

On 20 March 1907, Edward Kevis married Ada MOBEY in Bromley. They both resided at 12 Ravensbourne Rd Bromley. Witnesses were Florence Mary Mobey, Emma Mitchell and James Henry Kevis (James being the grooms father.) Ada's father was Richard Mobey a gardener. Ada records her age as 25.

Base on this information, I assumed (ass-u-me) that in the 1891 census (Source Citation: Class: RG12; Piece: 1173; Folio 35; Page 12; GSU roll: 6096283) she lived with her parents Richard & Lousie Mobey with 7 siblings.

However in the 1911 census Ada Selina Mobey (single) is living with Richard (widow) and 3 of the 1891 siblings. Her age is recorded here as 25.

In 1911 Mrs Ada Kevis (nee Mobey) described herself as being born in Oxford, Offordshire. I have found in 1901 Ada Mabey working in the Post Office in Surbiton. She describes herself as being born in Oxford, Oxfordshire. But I can not find her parents

Can anyone find a Ada Mobey, (born abt 1882) father Richard with a Florence Mary Mobey connetion?

in 1881 Richard and Louise are in Oxford with 8 children not Ada but in 1891 they are with 8 children including Ada birth 1885 Cassington.In 1901 they have 3 children at home in Oxford. By the way Florence is Ada's sister. Will give you more when im home .

The Cassington Oxford Ada, is recorded as single in 1911; living with her father Richard. Thats who I thought it was originally until someone on A******y pointed out my error! The one I am after is with Walter Kevis.

Yes I still need help. On the 1911 census Ada Kevis gives her place of birth Oxford. And although the Cassington Ada Selina fits for the fathers name and sister, the age is wrong, and she is recorded on the 1911as single. I think the Wales one is more likely, but why claim to be from Oxford?
I have found in 1901 Ada Mobey from Penrose working as a housemaid in Isleworth - how far is that to Bromley? Or Portabello Road. (Edard Kevis worked for his father at 263 Portabello Rd as a tobacconist)
