1891 census look up please

Hello everyone,

Could someone do a look up on a George and Hannah Tolley plus their children please.

George was born in 1842 in Stourport, WOR. Hannah should be 10 years youger according to the 1881c.
They were living in Kingswinford, STS in 1881.

I have just noticed that on the LDS site the surname is spelt TOLLY. Roberto

I looked & looked again - but nothing . I looked for Tolley, Tolly both George & Hannah . I did check 1881census but only found 3 years difference in their age. Coulf they have moved away? or could they somehoow have been left off the census. I do not know if the 1891 is complete or whether some pages are missing. Sometimes for one reason or another people are not on the census

you know you can get the certificates with the RG numbers from the record office - that wi heIp tracing the parents back - aIso if you can find the marriage of Hannah and George?

I have had trouble with this one in the 1891 so asked for help, I also have no luck with the 1901 so far. Roberto.

Perhaps they went to Canada, USA or Australia!

but for the 1891 and 1901 census for EngIand - the whoIe famiIy have seemingIy disapeared? I I tried searching for aII the names using just To* which brought up aII speIIing combinatons but none couId taIIy with the 1881 census - so that means either that is the wrong famiIy or they have gone abroad or they have aII died which is unIikeIy. Your best bet is to go for the birth cert of that George .

It is possibe that his parents were a George and Sarah both 1805 - but that is just a guess -

Yes his parents are George and Sarah Tolley and i have their dates & Certificates of Marriage and Parish Reg entries. George was born and Baptised in Hartlebury, Just found his marriage in Dudley 1874 on LDS IGI family search site.

I wonder where George was in 1871 census? Roberto,

I am really confused to what George is up to. The ages of George are just spot on. But what happened to Hanah Selina Tolley and the four children shown on the 1881?????

Ok he is a widower in 1891 and Brettle lane is near his abodes, So it looks like he married again.

In 1871 he is a boarder in Stourbridge, is place of birth is listed as Stourport. Occ mill furnace man.

Dates of birth appear ok but places of birth change a bit.

George's marriage:

Marriage: 22 MAR 1874 Saint Thomas, Dudley, Worcester, England

in 1891 George is living Chorley Cottage, Stottesden
George Widower 1842 Coal Miner
It states on census Birth place Staffordshire Brittle Lane ( think this is a lane in Brierley Hill)
Is it the right George?
