Thread: George William Warren is causing me big problems - any help would be apperciated....

I am trying to trace the above chappie.
His details .... b abt. 1851 in Islington London. He marreid Elizabeth Hannah Howell although not able to locate the marriage (but I have their sons birth certificate of which I have taken the information from).
Their son George William Warren (although the spelling of his surname seems to change to WarrAn). He was born 1883 Deptford london. He married a Florence Victoria Bowles in 1906 (Dec) in Deptford.
I think I have found suppporting documents such as 1891 & 1901 census, he George William Snr, dosent always use his first name from what can find - but maybe I am wrong.
Any help would be apperciated - thanking you for your time in advance.

Just trying to find more info on George William Warren, as I dont seem to be able to go any further back - If you see any thing (eg a census tha may contain his parents names / origins I would truly appreciate it.

I've just noticed you have posted a year of birth for GWW as 1851 whereas marriage cert suggests 1861?

For George William Warren I do not know of any siblings names, sorry. All I have are details from certificates which have been photocopied and passed to me. I know that George William had seven children.

He seems to be quiet a cheecky chappie as on occasions he seems to have 'dropped' his first name - prefering to be known as William only, maybe this is the case here as well - maybe trying to make himself more of a 'catch' by being younger?

George WARREN b1883 can be found with Henry & Susan WARRREN at
1901 RG13 524 9 9 desc as nephew aged 18
1891 RG12 0495 desc as grandosn aged 8

I presume you have the family info from the above census Butterflying as tired...... if no one else picks up i will look again....

Presumably his parents George Wm & Elizabeth A are not on the scene for whatever reason!
