Thread: Searching for grandmother Mary Agnes Harrod

Could someone help me find my grandmother Mary Agnes Harrod born 1883 Guildford Surrey on the 1911 British census.
My grandmother indicated that she worked for the Royal family when she was a young woman I know the info is scarce and I have searched and searched for her but to no avail. Do not know where she was living. I found her on the 1901 census with her father John and her mother Annie she is at home age 17 living at Little Dunmore Entire, Essex

Her fathers name was actually Hatch John William Harrod but at some time he started using his middle name.
If someone could help track my grandmother down I would greatly appreciate your help.

My grandmother came to Canada in 1914 and I have most of that information.

Suggest you may consider looking under both forenames and widen the search year to +5

I have looked on the 1911 census site and cannot find her (you can search for the name for free but have to pay for full details of the entry). Her family are there but she isn't with them.

Thank you for your imput, My grandmother married in Canada and I have all that information.

Now if I could just find her on the 1911 census. I have tried so many different searches. I wonder if she got missed on enumeration.

At this point I am looking for any any help.
