    Default Colley family of Portsmouth

    Looking for parents of Charles Colley who was born on Portsea Island in 1801 at Pimlico Place.
    Also looking to go back further if possible please.

    Alverstoke Hampshire .

    Charles Joseph COLLEY bp 18/11/1821 s/o John & Elizabeth COLLEY

    Sorry getting dates mixed up Charles was born in 1821, is there any more information on John & Elizabeth.

    i am really grateful for your help seem to be coming up against brick walls all the time so frustrating. LOL

    Hi Close, found on Cyndis list . Charles had other siblings Mother Elizabeth Father John All children christened St. Mary's Portsea
    John c 8 sept 1808
    Henry c 20 jan 1811
    Elizabeth c 2 oct 1814
    George c 3 sept 1815
    Ann c 3 dec 1820

    On the 1841 census Clarence street ,Portsea Portsmouth It looks like John and Elizabeth went on to have more children
    John Colley 65 b abt 1776 ENGINE HELPER
    Elizabeth Colley 55 b abt 1786
    Harriet Colley 15 b 1826 daughter
    Mark Colley 10 b 1831 son
    Edmund 5 b 1836 son
