Default James Aseph CHALLICE Born approx 1807

    Hi,
I am looking for more info on my Gr Gr Gr Grandfather.
James Aseph CHALLICE Born approx 1807.
I have been told his death was on 5 Oct 1879 and he was married to Mary Taylor, who was born approx 1803 and died 7 Aug 1871. Their marriage was on 9 Nov 1826.
I have no idea where either were born but wondered if anyone can shed any light on any more information please.
    Thankyou
    Antattack

For the county of Suffolk, Newmarket...

If you go to free bmd just type in Challis and search for marriages using the Census as a guide to birth years and possible marriage dates there are a few marriages listed for this surname..I searched from 1860 to 1890.. This could be Matthews down as Chimney Sweep on the 1861 Census????

Marriages Dec 1863 Challice Matthew Newmarket 3b125

Some good work found above by Hazelnut and Geniegenie..
