Default Vera saffra and a brick wall

Vera Saffra is my great aunt.

(Sometimes her brother and her father used Saphra for the surname-but that's another story).

I have hit a solid brick wall in trying to find out more about her.

What I do know is :-

    1. Her DOB was 4th Dec, 1891
    2. She is recorded in the 1901 Census (Civil Parish of Tottenham, Middlesex)
    3. She is 'accidently' mentioned in the 1911 Census as being in France as a governess. This piece of data is then struck through because the householder (her father) had entered it by mistake.
Vera wasn't at the address on the day of the census.
Remember that in the 1911 census, the householder had to fill in the census form.
    4. I know a lot about her parents, her siblings, her step mother and step siblings.

I just cannot determine what subsequently happened to her (Vera).

    Any help please ?

Have you tried using her second name :

London, England, Births and Baptisms, 1813-1906
Name: Vera Henrietta Saffra Record Type: Baptism
Date: 14 Feb 1892 Father's Name: George Saffra
Mother's Name: Lilian Saffra Parish: St Ann, Tottenham
    Borough: Haringey County: Middlesex
'' No one knows who we are or where we are going until we have been and gone ''.

    Researching the following families;
Kitchin & Sharpe, Cumberland, Canada, USA : Dixon, Lancashire, Westmorland, USA
Fell & Hanslow, Warwickshire, Staffordshire, USA Australia.
    Guess, Buckinghamshire : Meakins, Northamptonshire

    Thank you Noggin.

I was aware of a Vera 'Henrieta' Saffra, but you know that middle name isn't on her birth certificate.

But you know, all of the other data that you have supplied fits OK.

    So thank you Noggin

'being in France as a governess' or anywhere else, was that her profession? Do you know if she married. If she was in France have you tried in coming boats to UK?

Yes I have tried immigration and emigration records.

.........and in the 1911 census under "Personal Occupation" are the words "Governess in France" which is struck out.
She obviously was not in the household at the time of the census.

    Thank you for inquiring.
