Thread: Siblings of walter bibby

Hi all, I'm still stuggling with my Bibby brick wall.

I want to find out if Walter Bibby( b 1876 m Emma Cross 1901 D 1938.)had any siblings . I cant trace him via the census's . His father according to his birth cert was called Samuel. But on his marriage cert his father is called William ( deceased).
Any help that anyone can offer I would be very grateful for.

Hi Mollie, found 2 births on freebmd searched from 1900-1920
Albert William Bibby june qtr 1901 Stourbridge vol 6c page 180
Elizabeth Bessie Bibby march qtr 1903 Stourbridge vol 6c page 176

Cheers Hazelnut . Albert and Elizabeth were children of Walter.

Can you tell us where Walter was born, as there are 7 Walter Bibby's born between 1875 and 1877!!

Hi Hazelnut , that is the thread I've been following . As I found him on the 1901 census living with them even though he was married at the time, while his wife Emma was in Stourbridge

Are you sure that the two certificates you have belong to the same Walter Biddy ? What information do you have that you know is correct and can be worked back from ?

I cannot be positive, Starlight, I am basing my suspicions on the fact that Both Samuel and William were colliers.
The big problem I have is that I cannot pick up Walter on the 1881 census so I can't fin out who his siblings were.

Hi Brian Walter was born in Siverdale Staffs according to census records.
