Problems with gt grandparents.........?

Having difficulties with my gt grandparents at the mo from mothers side,
My gt grandfather Reuben Greenwood married Elizabeth Hurley in 1896 The Parish Church of St Mary, Hoxton.
My problem lies with there parents is father is James Greenwood, born abt 1830-35, so if some could help me with the 1871 census it would be of great help.....

In 1871 and 1881 there is a Reuben Greenwood, b 1868, s/o James (1835) and Rachel(1835) living in Dunmow/Thaxted area. The names James Greenwood and Rachel Harvey appear on the same page for marriages in Dunmow district DecQ 1854. Does any of this make sense to you? Father James is shown as a corn dealer.
A death of a Reuben Greenwood (aged 59) was registered in Islington district Sep Q 1926.

See "Ancestral File" for Rachel Harvey, born Thaxted 10 Aug 1834, on Family Search. Should give you something of interest, but do not take the information posted as "gospel" without checking original sources.

and marraige to Elizabeth Hurley june qtr 1896 SHOREDITCH vol 1c page 245
might be worth getting birth and marraige certificates for more info ,

I cannot pick up a baptism of Reuben William...
Maybe it is a case of purchasing the birth cert St Luke Middlesex 1b 7 752
