No luck with 1860. Do you know who her parents were ?
thanks so much! she was a servant in 1881 so it adds up - know nothing about her other than she wed our ancestor peter dutton in 1881 in crowton cheshire eng / stornaway/ and that 1881 census. oh and i just found a 1901 census - but i need to find parents to go back, its very frustrating! ha.Originally Posted by Starlight

sorry took so long to get back to you! her parents were alexander mclean born 1821 stornaway and elizabeth maclean born 1823 stornaway residing in keith st stornaway in 1851, margarets sister was christina born 1846 stornaway, as yet i have nothing else, no 1861 0r 1841 census. k.
