Where is Thomas Sharp 1855

In the 1891 census I have the following family:
GUESS, Alice Mother Widow F 56 1835 Leighton Buzzard Bedfordshire
SHARP, Thomas Son In Law Married M 36 1855 Railway Labourer Leighton Buzzard Bedfordshire
SHARP, Eliza Daughter Married F 30 1861 Leighton Buzzard Bedfordshire
Thomas also appears in the 1901 census as being born in Leighton Buzzard.
I cannot find him in the 1881 1871 or 1861 census, nor can I find a birth for him.
Any help in locating him would be appreciated.

um strange...... they married in June qtr 1881 in leighton buzzard so would expect him to be somewhere around there in 1881 census.

Possibility for 1871 census: (it definately has Leighton Buzzard as place of birth on the original image). I can't work out what his occupation is, but above him on the census return is a John Sharp, born c.1826 in Leighton Buzzard.
