Hello,
I would like very much for someone to find William and Mathilda Sheward in the 1891 census. I know William was born in Hartlebury, Worcestershire in c.1870.
I can not say when they were married or if they had any children. I find them hard to find in the 1901 census too.

I think I have found your man on the 1901 census! The handwriting on the census return is really terrible! No wonder parts have been transcribed wrongly! I'm pretty sure that his place of birth does actually say Hartlebury! I've had no luck with the 1891 census, but looking at the ages of their children, William and Matilda probably weren't married then. I've tried looking for a marriage around the birth of Jeffrey, but as yet, I've been unsuccessful!

I now know of 3 more great cousins. They were out there hiding under another name!
Next the 1911 and then a certificate or two. Jeffery died in Australia so another trail starts.
Well after i spend a w/e away.
