Thread: Information on my Father

Hey everyone. I need some ideas or help on locating info on my father. I have my birth certificate with his name and age on it but that is all I have. I need to find out his fathers name and so on back down the line. Can anyone help me with this please? I don't know my Father and have no contact with my mother so I am on my own. What is my next step? Thanx in advance for any and all help. Rob Jones.

I think that if your father is likely to still be alive, any info that 'changes hands' so to speak should be done via private messaging. If you'd like to private message me with some of your father's details, e.g. name, age, possible location, I can have a look and see what I can turn up.

This is a free to search site, indexed from 1837 - 1983 in respect of Births Marriages and deaths.like a lot of sites it is not complete!



It will allow you to filter your search or refine it to a precise area and year.



As mrsp stated info related to living persons needs to be dealt with sensitively.
