Trying to trace the father and family of Charles Thomas Townsend, only got limited information.

Are you sure that the middle name of Charles was Thomas ?
I thought I may have had him but the middle name turned out to be different.
You may find that you will need to get his marriage certificate to confirm his father's name. The one I thought it was, was Reuben.
