Looking for ancestors of Robert LOCKYER b. 1842 Clewer Berkshire England. Exact death date and place is unknown.

He married a Sarah Rudge? b. 1844 Birmingham Warwickshire and they had 7 children.

They resided in St. Pancras London in the 1881 Census.



I am having trouble finding his parents so any help would be greatly appreciated.

You will find Robert Lockyer on all census back to 1841 where he ststed as being 10 months. In 1851 is mother Mary is listed as a widow. No father shown on the 1841 census.

This might be Charles birth reg.

You could purchase this cert reg which would give the fathers name. You could the use the cert to look for the marriage of his parents.
