Thread: Frederick Lewis Wilkins

Frederick born about 1873 Kensington.In 1881 he is with parents John and Caroline at 22 Treverton St,Kennsington.In 1891 he is at Aldershot and in the 1 Battalion Queens Royal West Surrey Regiment.In 1892 he enlisted in the Royal Artillery (# 91621)but did not report for duty.What happened after that?Did he leave the country?Did he end up in prison?Maybe he changed his name and is never to be found.I am stumped.

Have you checked the national archives, it may say etc. Also have you looked on the 1901 census

I tried the 1901 census but could not find him.Have not looked at the archives because I did not think he would show up since he did not report for duty.

The archives might have something because he deseted he may of been put in prison or transported! sorry just a thought. I'll keep looking
