I cannot read the name of the street on the census record and would like to know whether I am permitted to post a scanned image of part
of the page on here, in the hope that perhaps someone may be able to read it.

Hi Val,
Look at the bottom of the image. If it says Crown Copyright then you may post the bit you need.
Hi Starlight,
Thanks for your reply. At the side is "Copyright photograph - not to be reproduced photographically without permission of the Record Office London", so I don't know whether scanning is considered photographically.
Thanks.
Val.
Hi Val,
If you can scan the address and not too much of the rest of the information on the image, I cannot see a problem.
Thanks so much Starlight, I will get my daughter to help me with that as soon as she can. My skills don't run to that!
Hello
Why not post the ref and the line?
'We' can look at it.......

Help has arrived!
This is a single line from the census record. Maybe someone will be able to help meread the street name.
The reference number is H.O. 197 1669.
Many thanks.
Val.
Hi Val
Can you tell us which year the census is please and if possible the name of the person.
Hi Bigdon,
I hope I'm not causing too much of a problem.
It is the 1851 census Southampton, her name is Lucy Fellows and she is listed at the address with others.
Many thanks.
Val.
