Thread: Problem reading census record.

I cannot read the name of the street on the census record and would like to know whether I am permitted to post a scanned image of part

of the page on here, in the hope that perhaps someone may be able to read it.

Look at the bottom of the image. If it says Crown Copyright then you may post the bit you need.

Thanks for your reply. At the side is "Copyright photograph - not to be reproduced photographically without permission of the Record Office London", so I don't know whether scanning is considered photographically.

If you can scan the address and not too much of the rest of the information on the image, I cannot see a problem.

It is the 1851 census Southampton, her name is Lucy Fellows and she is listed at the address with others.
