Hi,



I'm trying to look for a William henry Root on the Census but I can't find him anywhere. According to the marriage cert he was born around 1887 and his father was John Root.

Thanks for reply.



He married Annie Osbourne in 1921 in Hammersmith, so all I had to go on was his age and name of father on marriage cert. Is this the right one? Hope so.

Just done a quick check at Freebmd.org.uk, there is only one William Henry ROOT born in the timeframe of 1885 - 1890, and that is the one already shown......so in answer to your question, 'Is this one the right one' I would say yes!



What status does he show on his marriage cert?

There was rumours that he was married before , so this might confim it.
