I am looking for information on my grandfather Patrick Hayes. He was my mother's father. The only information I have is from my parents marriage certificate. In 1940 Patrick was a florist and lived at 38 Monsell Road Finsbury Park London. I would be grateful for any help.

Do you have your mother's birth cert? that will give her mothers name. From that we may be able to work back via the marriage of Patrick Hayes and your grand mother Or do you have any idea when he was born. How old was your mother when she married and what was her Christen(s). PM me details, some people might still be living.
